Overview

FamMesh ("we", "our", or "the app") is a family hub app built by Apps by Logik. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We take your family's privacy seriously.

What Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Email address when you create an account
• Family member names and profile photos
• Family photos you upload to the app
• Chore assignments, reward definitions, and calendar events you create
• Bill and meal planning information you enter

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage data to keep the app functioning, such as sync timestamps
• Subscription status through RevenueCat to manage access to premium features

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to operate the app:

• To sync your family data across your devices when you are signed in
• To store your family photos so they are accessible on all your devices
• To process and manage your subscription
• To serve banner advertisements to free-tier users through Google AdMob
• To send local notifications for chores and reminders. These are generated on your device and never sent to our servers.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.

Advertising

Free-tier users see a small banner advertisement powered by Google AdMob. Premium subscribers never see ads.

AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings under:

Third-Party Services

FamMesh uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Google Firebase Auth, Firestore, and Storage — stores your account credentials and family data securely. Firebase is operated by Google. Google Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — manages subscription billing, purchase validation, and entitlements. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob — serves banner advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Calendar — optional. If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we request read/write access to sync events. You can disconnect this at any time in Settings. Google Privacy Policy

Data Storage and Security

Your family data is stored on Google Firebase servers and protected by Google's security infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

We do not have access to your raw passwords. Authentication is handled entirely by Firebase.

Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Delete your account and all associated data from within the app under Settings → Account
• Remove individual family photos or member data at any time
• Disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings
• Cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store → Subscriptions
• Opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Request complete deletion of your data by emailing us at appsbylogik@gmail.com

Children's Privacy

FamMesh is designed for use by adults to manage their household. The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Family member profiles created within the app, such as children's chore assignments, are managed entirely by the adult account holder.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
